Acrylic, heavy blue and white wash layers with traditional style Japanese fish scale textures and sgrafitto markings. Deep blues and soft deep greens with very subtle undertones of lavender and cream, washed with white and finished with a protective satin varnish. Drawing inspiration from the unique process known as ‘Shibori’, which is a traditional Japanese craft of dying cloth blue and white.
