Soft Cell

Mixed Media on canvas. A reduced and raised layer technique with a wet washed and stripped finish. The palette goes to earth mud browns, ivory, and vintage lace with murky teals that bounce off ochre and apricot. Soft cell is composed, fitting every piece to the puzzle, ever so gentle on the eye, with a splash of this and that and a rounding of edges. Smoothly squaring, subtle flowing lines that breathe.
